The Athletic are reporting this morning that Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football Fabio Paratici is confident that Harry Kane will not be sold despite interest from Manchester City.
Harry Kane rumour
The Sun reported this week that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has told Kane that he is free to leave.
The report in the British tabloid even claimed that the England international striker has agreed a £400,000-a-week deal with City.
City, who won the Premier League title last season, will pay Spurs £160 million for the 27-year-old striker, according to the report.
What’s now being claimed
The Athletic are reporting this morning that Tottenham have told Kane that he is not leaving.
The North London club’s new managing director of football, Paratici, is confident that the England international striker will stay.
However, City are not giving up and remain keen.

It’s getting very complicated
Now, different media outlets will have different sources.
We have to acknowledge that and appreciate that different journalists are given different information from people they know.
What is clear is that City are keen on Kane, but it remains to be seen if Pep Guardiola’s side will pay £160 million.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and there is no doubt that the 27-year-old would be able to make an immediate impact at City.
