Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool plan to hold talks with Fulham over Fabio Carvalho in February.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Liverpool will have direct contact with Fulham and with Carvalho’s camp this month.
Both Liverpool and Fulham are eager to make a deal happen for the summer of 2022.
Romano has added that Carvalho has already agreed personal terms and has undergone a medical for a potential move to Liverpool at the end of the season.
The Athletic reported this week that the 19-year-old attacking midfielder underwent a medical in London on the final day of the January transfer window.
Could Fabio Carvalho to Liverpool happen?
In our view, there is a very good chance that Liverpool could sign Carvalho in the summer of 2022.
The teenager is out of contract at Fulham at the end of the season and will cost a compensation fee.
It is not going to be an outlandish amount, and, in our view, Liverpool could easily afford it.
Now, if Carvalho wants to go to Liverpool, then a deal is very likely to happen.
