Ibrox hero Josh Windass put Fraserburgh to the sword with a superb hat-trick for Rangers.

Rangers attacker Josh Windass scored a sensational hat-trick on Wednesday night as Graeme Murty’s side progressed into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup – and Fabio Cardoso Tweeted his delight to teammate Windass.
Windass, 24, put Highland League minnows Fraserburgh to the sword at Bellslea Park by nabbing all three goals as the Gers earned a comfortable 3-0 win to progress into the next round.

Murty fielded a strong side that included the likes of Declan John, Jason Holt and Andy Halliday all start. Windass opened the scoring with a neatly-taken penalty before lashing home from 10 yards in the second half.
His third goal was the pick of the bunch, cutting inside from the left flank before driving home a low effort into the bottom corner to secure an easy win and pick up the match ball.
Cardoso, who played the entire 90 minutes, Tweeted Windass saying “you’re more on fire than Alicia Keys bro”.
The former Accrington Stanley ace has now found the back of the net nine times this season in just 27 league and cup outings, with many of his appearances coming from the wing or indeed in his natural position of midfield.
But Murty has since converted Josh, son of former Hull City striker Dean, into a striker like his father and it is proving dividends. Murty will be hoping Windass can take his form into Saturday’s clash against Hibernian at Ibrox.
