Rangers leaked three goals against Hamilton Academical on Sunday.

Rangers may have picked up another victory on Sunday afternoon, but their 5-3 win at Hamilton Academical wasn’t without its issues.
Jamie Murphy, Josh Windass and Alfredo Morelos all ran riot in a dangerous attacking display from Rangers, with manager Graeme Murty no doubt loving the movement and clinical finishing from his attacking players.
However, the defensive showing from Rangers was hugely disappointing, with Russell Martin and David Bates looking shaky as they leaked three goals against a struggling Hamilton side.

Murty will now have decisions to make about his defensive options ahead of this weekend’s game against Hearts, with other centre backs vying for playing time.
Murty has gone with Scottish duo Bates and Martin over Portuguese pair Fabio Cardoso and Bruno Alves, who were both brought in by Pedro Caixinha over the summer – and Cardoso is seemingly desperate for playing time.

After seeing Rangers struggle defensively, Cardoso took to Twitter to merely post an ellipsis, seemingly a thinly-veiled reaction to Rangers’ defending whilst he sits on the sidelines.
Unsurprisingly, Rangers fans responded to the young centre back, and many suggested that the want him to replace Bates in the Rangers defence against Hearts this weekend, urging him to keep working hard and prove to Murty that he deserves to start.
