Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City take on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend.

The Reds are undefeated in the Premier League this season and are six points clear at the top of the table above second-placed Manchester City. The defending champions will have a mountain to climb if they lose this weekend and Guardiola has to get his tactics right to pick up the three points.
Both Klopp and Guardiola have taken their respective teams to another level over the last few years. The duo are arguably the best managers in world football at the moment and former England and AC Milan boss Capello spoke about the difference between the two.
“Klopp, he made something magic for me. The atmosphere of Anfield is fantastic, the team is like the fans. The connection is fantastic between the team, Klopp and fans, it’s a unique thing,” he said.
“Guardiola is different. I think he plays the team like a theatre. The fans a theatre. The show is really good but it’s a theatre.”

Klopp once claimed that his football is heavy metal compared to Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal’s orchestra (Daily Mail). Guardiola’s style is in ways similar to Wenger’s in terms of possession and fluid movement off the ball which makes for an exciting clash at the weekend.
A win for Manchester City will reduce the gap between the two teams to just three points and it will also end Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the season. However, Klopp has the slight edge over Guardiola with eight wins and two draws in 17 meetings over the years.
