Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is currently on his way back to Italy for holiday.
Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has been given days off, and he is flying back to his homeland Italy.
The Italy international striker is currently at the Heathrow airport in London, from where he posted the following message on social networking site Twitter.
The 23-year-old was left out of Italy’s squad for the Euro 2016 qualifiers, and it seems that he has been given permission by Liverpool to enjoy a couple of days in his country.
Borini has played a bit-part role for Brendan Rodgers’s side so far this season, having made just two Premier League appearances.
The former Chelsea striker has scored no goal in those matches, while creating just one chance for his teammates. Borini has a pass accuracy of just 63% and a shot accuracy of 67%.
