Liverpool eased past Belgian side Genk in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Fabinho has congratulated Liverpool on an ‘amazing’ performance as they secured a comfortable 4-1 win over Belgian side Genk in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Midfielder Fabinho played the whole encounter in the middle of the park, as the returning Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted a brilliant brace, with the usual suspects, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane also chipping in with goals.
It was another clean performance from Jurgen Klopp’ side, who have only added to their confidence and performances they have been putting in from the Premier League.
Nonetheless, after the match, Fabinho sent this message to the Liverpool supporters from his personal Instagram account, as Brazilian-born Portuguese legend Deco issued a simple two-word response: ‘Congratulations warrior’:

Fabinho has once again been showcasing his worth for Liverpool, as he is seemingly getting better and better for the Merseyside club.
The Brazil international moved to Anfield in 2018 when Liverpool paid Ligue 1 side Monaco £44 million for his services [Sky Sports], and at this moment in time, he has been worth every penny.
After their Champions League win, Liverpool will now turn their attention to Premier League matters and hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Last Sunday, Klopp’s side produced a lacklustre display as they recorded a 1-1 draw against struggling Manchester United, as they face another team who is having an indifferent campaign this term.
Tottenham Hotspur will make the trip to Anfield, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side also ran out comfortable winners in the Champions League in midweek.
