The Brazilian is a big fan of his Liverpool teammate.

Liverpool ace Fabinho spoke during an appearance on the Hoje Sim podcast in Brazil, and raved about the ability of Roberto Firmino, sharing how Jurgen Klopp believes that the Brazilian is ‘irreplaceable’.

Firmino, 27, is one of the best strikers in world football, and he excels when dropping deep into midfield and linking the play between the middle of the park and attack, as well as creating more space in the final third, dragging opposing defenders out of position.

The Brazil international joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth £29 million, and he has gone on to rack up an impressive 66 goals and 47 assists in 192 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit.

And Fabinho highlighted just how important his compatriot is to the way in which the Reds operate, when speaking during an appearance on the Hoje Sim podcast in Brazil:

“At Liverpool he is the perfect player for that position. With our characteristic of the two open players, he helps a lot because he scores goals and gives players the ball to score goals as well. And Klopp says that an irreplaceable player for him is Firmino. And I’m going to talk about my vision: I’ve always liked him a lot, but when you follow him every day, you realise that the guy is different. The guy is very good.”

Liverpool were so close to winning the Premier League title last season, and if they are to go one step further next term, Firmino will have to be on his very best form for the entirety of the campaign.

As Fabinho said, the 27-year-old is irreplaceable, so Reds fans will be praying that he avoids injuries and suspensions next term.
