The Liverpool forward was quite simply brilliant last season.

Fabinho sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and raved about the quality of Sadio Mane, labelling the Senegalese ace as a ‘complete player’.
Mane was one of the Reds’ standout performers last season, racking up a mightily impressive 26 goals and five assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.
The 27-year-old joined Liverpool from Southampton in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth £34 million according to BBC Sport, and he has since proven to be worth every single penny.
Mane is now probably worth at least three times that amount, although Jurgen Klopp would surely not even contemplate selling him.
Fabinho, who also impressed for Liverpool this season, could not speak highly enough of the Senegal international during an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, suggesting that his teammate has really helped him both on and off the pitch:

“Sadio Mane is a genuinely impressive player. He’s tireless, playing in every game with such high levels of intensity and concentration. His technical ability goes without saying, he always makes a difference for us. He’s a complete player – he gives you the option of a short pass or a long ball, he contributes to the build-up and creation of play as well. He’s a great player. Off the pitch I chat with him quite a bit as we both speak French. He’s a great lad.”
Liverpool will be looking to go one step further in the Premier League next season, and lift their first top flight title since 1990.
If they are to do just that, Mane will have to be at his brilliant best for the entirety of the campaign.
He is now regarded as one of the Premier League’s best players, and it will be interesting to see if he can live up to that next season.
