Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar scored his first two goals for the club last weekend.

Schar scored twice for Newcastle in their 3-0 victory at St. James’ Park last weekend.
And Yedlin believes that the summer signing is just starting to show everyone at Newcastle what he can do now.
“People are starting to see what he can do now,” the American full-back said.
“He is great on the ball.
“He is a good defender and he is very important to this team.”
Schar’s first goal against Cardiff was particularly memorable as he picked the ball up from deep and danced round defenders before finishing expertly.

The Newcastle defender showed a clinical steak more associated with a striker than a defender in the box.
And it seems that Schar could potentially be yet another bargain signing for Newcastle in the years ahead, after they paid just £3 million for him in the summer (Daily Star).
Schar has now made nine Premier League starts for Newcastle during his time on Tyneside so far.
The Switzerland international looks likely to keep his place in Newcastle’s starting line-up at the weekend, when the Magpies take on Watford in the FA Cup.
