Everton confirmed via the official club website that Gomes has suffered a fracture dislocation to his ankle and he will undergo surgery today.

Everton’s players responded on the pitch well to Gomes’ injury. They scored late in injury time to claim a point at home to Tottenham.
Gomes was injured in a coming together with Heung-Min Son and Serge Aurier. There did not appear any malice on the part of the Tottenham players.
It is very possible that Gomes does not play again for Everton this season.
