Aston Villa recorded a comfortable win against Crewe in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Ezri Konsa has expressed his delight on Instagram after he scored on his debut for Aston Villa during their 6-1 thumping of Crewe in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Dean Smith made 10 changes to the team that won their first Premier League match of the season on Friday night, including giving debuts to a number of his summer signings.
Centre-back Konsa was one of those players and it is fair to say that he impressed. He scored within four minutes of his debut, and despite conceding a late goal, he would have been happy with the partnership he built with Kortney Hause at the back.
Nonetheless, after the game, Konsa took to his personal Instagram account to share his thoughts on making his debut, scoring and helping his team to a win.
A number of current players, including Tammy Abraham, Jack Grealish, Eddie Nketiah and Tyrone Mings reacted to his message.

Konsa moved to Villa Park in the summer when he made a £12 million switch from Smith’s former side, Brentford [BBC Sport].
Judging by these opening few games, it seems as though Konsa will be playing a back-up role to Tyrone Mings and Bjorn Engels.
Whilst Villa supporters, before a ball was kicked, well aware of what Mings could do, they were yet to see what Engels could produce because he also joined the club in the summer.
However, the Belgian has impressed in his first three games and he will be looking to continue that as Villa take on Crystal Palace at the weekend.
