Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will face Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship this evening.

The 26-year-old Macedonia international winger – who joined the Whites from Lugano in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £2 million – has also underlined the change in mentality this season.
Alioski told The Yorkshire Post: “I see a real difference. Last year when we won games we won maybe 1-0 or 2-1 and we were a little lucky.
“This year we win 2-0, 4-1, 3-0 and you think, ‘That really was a good performance’. This year I am sure it cannot happen that we will lose two, three, four games in a row.
“I am 100 per cent sure it will never happen. This coach has prepared us to show a reaction and when we do not play very well we get a good reaction in the next game.”

Bold claim to be tested
Alioski’s claim is quite bold, and it will be tested in the Championship game against Sheffield Wednesday away from home this evening.
Leeds will head into the match at the Hillsborough Stadium on the back of 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City at Elland Road in the Championship.
The Whites were expected to pick up all three points from their match against Garry Monk’s Birmingham.
Wednesday are playing well at the moment and are very much in the running for the playoffs, and the Owls will be a firm test for Leeds and of Alioski’s claim that Marcelo Bielsa’s side will not lose two games in a row.
