Ezgjan Alioski states that Leeds United’s squad does not need strengthening.
Ezgjan Alioski has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that he does not believe that Leeds United need any more signings this summer.
The Macedonia international is one of 12 new signings to arrive in what’s been a very busy summer at Elland Road.
But it remains to be seen whether head coach Thomas Christiansen and Director of Football Victor Orta continue to bolster the ranks, with speculation about a centre-back and a striker still coming in before the transfer window shuts.

Leeds have drawn 0-0 in their last two Championship games, having beaten Bolton Wanderers 3-2 in their opener. Christiansen’s side also smashed Port Vale 4-1 in the League Cup, with Samu Saiz – who bagged a hat-trick – and fellow new boy Caleb Ekuban scoring.
And the 25-year-old does not believe that the Whites need to bring in any more players, claiming the team is good to go.
“No,” he said to The YEP when asked if United need further arrivals.
“We have so many players in attack and good players with quality. We also have players who are at home (injured). We make chances and we are playing very well. I’d say we are good with this team and good with the players we have now.”
Not all Leeds fans will agree that the squad is strong enough to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
Although the team is still unbeaten in all competitions, the lack of firepower in the previous two games has been evident. If Chris Wood doesn’t score then Leeds struggle and that was a problem they had last season under Garry Monk.
You could argue that the emergence of Conor Shaughnessy has lessened the urgency for a centre-back, but failing to recruit a striker might well be detrimental.
