Leeds United fans expected big things of Ezgjan Alioski when he arrived at Elland Road.

When Ezgjan Alioski signed for Leeds United in the summer there was a huge excitement about his arrival at Elland Road, but the 25-year-old is yet to really live up to his billing at the Yorkshire club.
Alioski’s showings over pre-season were hugely eye-catching, with his flashy skills coming to the fore.
However, since the Championship season has started up, the 25-year-old has not made as rapid a start as many hoped.

Alioski has been selected regularly by Thomas Christiansen, but he is yet to have much of an impact in a Leeds shirt.
The Macedonian international has shown flashes of quality, but he has been anonymous throughout games too often.
Alioski has been overshadowed by Samu Saiz, and is simply not offering enough to Christiansen’s side in an attacking sense.

Alisoki has scored just one goal goal in 16 Leeds appearances, and he only has three assists to his name to date.
And while it would be totally foolish to write off Alisoki yet, the 25-year-old really does need to start improving, if he is to live up to expectations at Leeds.
