Ezgjan Alioski has now become a key player for Leeds United both in defence and attack.

Ezgjan Alioski has stated that he has now become ‘more professional’ and ‘more ‘disciplined’ as he has admitted that Leeds United have ‘changed’ him.
The 27-year-old paid special tribute to manager Marcelo Bielsa and shared that he has improved in five different areas under the much-appreciated boss.
From improving on his defending to having the ability to ‘run more’, Alioski has come on leaps and bounds at Elland Road during these past 12 months.
The Whites are currently sitting top of the Championship table, and Alioski, who has featured in six of those seven games, explained how much the club and manager have helped him ‘improve’.
“The club has changed me a lot and I have improved,” Alioski told LUFC. “I have learned to play new positions, improved on my defending and I now have the ability to run more.
“I’m also now more professional and more disciplined, I have learnt a lot from Marcelo and I try to learn new things every day.”

Alioski first arrived at Elland Road during the summer of 2017, and whilst he impressed supporters with his attacking ability on the ball, it is under Bielsa’s stewardship where has taken his game to another level.
Last season, with Barry Douglas struggling with injuries and form, Bielsa used Alioski as a left-back, as the move, for the most part, paid off because of how high Leeds’ full-backs would push forward.
And once again this season, he has been utilised, both as a winger and a left-back by his manager – he opened his account for the season from left-back when he scored against Stoke last month.
Last Sunday, Alioski helped his side to three points and a clean sheet against Barnsley, as they will be hoping to continue that run of form when they take on Derby County on Saturday.
