The 20-year-old has been one of QPR’s best players so far this season.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze has enjoyed a fine start to the 2018/19 Championship campaign and is quickly establishing himself as one of the league’s most exciting talents. Now he has praised manager Steve McClaren for his continued guidance.
The former Derby County boss has been in charge at Loftus Road since May, and Eze believes that McClaren has been fundamental in his own progress, gaining plenty under his stewardship.
“I have learnt a lot under the gaffer,” Eze told QPR’s official page.
“He is a great teacher and I can see that I am growing as a player., I can see it in myself.
“I am becoming more confident and, again, he gives me that freedom to be myself and play how I like to play, which is good.”

Eze has registered three goals and an assist so far in the league this season, but the R’s no.10 has fine-tuned his game in other areas, often helping out the back-line if Rangers have been under the cosh late in matches.
Friday’s victory over Aston Villa was a fine example, with Eze demonstrating his strong work ethic, and much of this must be owed to McClaren, whose work with Eze is visibly paying off.

Moving forward, Rangers fans will want to see Eze continue to flourish in the same manner he has been and McClaren is tasked with keeping the youngster grounded.
Attention from the Premier League for Eze is likely to be rife over the next few transfer windows and, although the day will come when he moves on, the youngster can always be thankful for McClaren’s hard work.
