Leeds should not assume that Wolves won’t come back in for Bailey-Peacock Farrell.

Wolves took advantage of Sporting Lisbon’s troubles to sign Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio this week.
The move is quite a coup, with Wolves instantly upgrading the position and making a real statement of intent.
So does this let Leeds United off the hook, regarding Wolves’ reported interest in young stopper Bailey Peacock-Farrell?
Alan Nixon in The Sun on Sunday reported (June 10th, page 60) that Wolves were plotting a £4 million offer for the promising Leeds goalkeeper.

Peacock-Farrell broke through as number one last season under Paul Heckingbottom, but his status at Leeds next season remains unclear with new manager Marcelo Bielsa expected to bring in a new goalkeeper after sending Felix Wiedwald packing back to Germany.
Wolves’ intent over Peacock-Farrell will be determined by what they decide to do with John Ruddy.

Ruddy is unlucky to have been replaced by Rui Patricio and there will be a strong market for a goalkeeper who has now won promotion three times and is still just 31.
Wolves have an opportunity to cash in, but will also need a replacement, a back-up for Rui Patricio.
This is where their interest in Peacock-Farrell could re-emerge, and perhaps it is better to have a young up and coming goalkeeper as number two, instead of a veteran who still believes he should be number one.
Leeds would not let the youngster leave easily, although they should consider trying to take Ruddy as part of any move.
Peacock-Farrell’s best option to develop will be to play rather than being back-up. His intent will be influenced by Leeds’ plans for him next season.
