Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Ben Jacobs has been discussing Antonio Conte’s future at Tottenham Hotspur.
Every few months or so Conte is linked with a move away from Tottenham and these rumours have resurfaced this week as it was reported that Juventus are ready to appoint their former gaffer to replace Massimiliano Allegri.
However, according to Jacobs, there’s no need to worry about Conte joining Spurs right now, stating that the north London club are extremely confident that their manager will be signing a new contract in the coming weeks.

What’s been said?
Jacobs shared what he knows about Conte’s future.
“Right now, if Allegri was sacked, Conte would not quit Spurs for Juventus. It would be a big decision if an offer was made, but he’s been backed and he’s flying at Tottenham. There may be a conversation to be had, but when you speak to Tottenham sources they remain extremely confident, whether it be this month or by early next year they will get Conte to sign a new deal,” Jacobs said.
Best news possible
Tottenham fans couldn’t ask for a more positive update than this.
Make no mistake about it, Conte is the single most important figure at Tottenham right now, and he’s the reason Spurs are unbeaten in the league so far.
The future has looked bright at Spurs ever since Conte was appointed, but due to his contract situation, there’s always been this lingering doubt around his future.
Luckily, it sounds like he may be about to commit himself to Spurs for the foreseeable future, and a new contract is on the horizon.
These Juventus rumours were gathering speed this week, but, just like the PSG stories earlier this year, there’s seemingly nothing to worry about on this front.
