Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Raphinha, with reports claiming that the Gunners’ Sporting Director Edu is personally trying to bring the Barcelona winger to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer widow.
Arsenal linked with Barcelona winger Raphinha
Earlier this month, Sport reported that Arsenal are among the clubs who are interested in signing former Leeds United winger Raphinha.
Arsenal Sporting Director Edu has been in touch with Deco, Raphinha’s agent, for months now and is trying to get a deal done, according to the report in the Spanish publication.
Newcastle United and Chelsea have also been linked with the 26-year-old Brazil international winger, described as “extraordinary” by Barcelona head coach Xavi.
Last week, Sport reported that Barcelona are willing to cash in on the winger, who himself is now ready to leave Camp Nou.

Raphinha wins La Liga with Barcelona
Amid uncertainty over his future, Raphinha is doing well on the pitch for Barcelona.
On Sunday, Barcelona beat city rivals Espanyol 4-2 in La Liga to clinch the championship.
Raphinha provided an assist.
The winger has made 22 starts and 10 substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona this season.
The Brazilian star has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in those games.
Raphinha also gave two assists in five UEFA Champions League matches and scored one goal and provided one assist in two UEFA Europa League games for Xavi’s team this campaign.
