Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney will leave in the summer transfer window.

The Italian journalist has claimed that Real Sociedad are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Arsenal.

Romano has noted that the former Celtic left-back is not part of the Arsenal team to take on Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.

The reporter has added that Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is at the Emirates Stadium for the match.

Romano has said that the Spain international will soon be unveiled as an Arsenal player.

Kieran Tierney should leave Arsenal

In our view, Kieran Tierney should leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

It is clear that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not rate the left-back.

There is no point in Tierney staying at Arsenal if he cannot make the first team or even the bench.

If La Liga club Real Sociedad are keen on Tierney this summer, then the Arsenal left-back should seriously consider a move to the Spanish club.

Sociedad will play in the UEFA Champions League this season after finishing fourth in the La Liga table last campaign.

Tierney made six starts and 21 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season.

The 26-year-old gave one assist in those games.

Tierney has made 91 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The left-back has scored three goals, given eight assists, and kept 19 clean sheets in those matches.
