Chris Sutton has predicted on BBC Sport that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will win against Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend.
Nottingham Forest will lock horns with Liverpool at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Former Chelsea striker Sutton has backed the Merseyside club to pick up all three points from the match against Forest courtesy of a 2-0 win.
Chris Sutton predicts Nottingham Forest v Liverpool
Sutton wrote: “Nottingham Forest only lost narrowly to Liverpool in last season’s FA Cup but they obviously have a completely different team now, and they are struggling.
“Forest held out for a point at Brighton on Tuesday and got a clean sheet, which might give them a bit of confidence, but they offered very little in front of goal.
“They need to get the balance right between defence and attack and they badly need a victory, but it is hard to see them managing any of that against Liverpool.
“The Reds were far from great themselves against West Ham in midweek but, even if they are not at their best, I’d still expect them to win.
“Sutton’s prediction: 0-2.”

Easy win for Liverpool
In our opinion, Liverpool will pick up all three points from the Premier League game against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday with ease.
Liverpool are a much better team than Forest and are in better form too.
Since losing 3-2 to Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp’s side have hammered Rangers, beat Manchester City and edged past West Ham United.
Liverpool are starting to get back to their best, and we think that they could win by a two or a three-goal margin against Steve Cooper’s team..
Yes, Forest could raise their game against Liverpool, but the former Premier League and the UEFA Champions League winners are so much better than them and should win the game in the end.
