Burnley may be out of the running to sign Andy Robertson.

Odds had dropped over the past month on Burnley pipping Liverpool to the signing of Andy Robertson.

As it stands Burnley are 13/8 favourites to sign the Scot with SkyBet, with Liverpool at 5/2.

This is set to change with Burnley making their move for another left-back.

The Burnley Express report the Clarets have agreed personal terms with out of contract Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor, although a fee is yet to be settled upon between the two clubs.

Burnley are not likely to sign both players, leaving Robertson’s future open ended, and Liverpool expected to quickly become favourites again to sign him from Hull City.

Robertson is set to leave Hull this summer, he confirmed that to The Mirror earlier this month, but also sought to distance himself from reports he had already agreed to sign with the Reds.

Liverpool moving was not dependent on Burnley, but the Clarets’ decision to move for Charlie Taylor could have been because they faced losing out on Robertson.

The Reds need to sign a left-back and are yet to move this summer for one, so far signing winger Mohamed Salah.
