David Moyes has suggested that Said Benrahma and Sebastian Haller could have a part to play during West Ham United’s Premier League clash with Manchester City this weekend, while speaking to Football London.
After following up 4-0 and 3-0 thrashings of Wolves and Leicester City with that dramatic comeback away at Tottenham Hotspur, the Hammers should be full of confidence heading into a daunting clash with Pep Guardiola’s title-chasing side at the London Stadium.
Just to add to the feel-good factor, record signing Haller is back in contention after missing the trip to Spurs.
Deadline-day signing Benrahma could also feature for the first time with his speed, skill and eye for the spectacular capable of striking fear into the heart of an increasingly error-prone Manchester City backline.
“We have got everybody in order. Haller has trained, expect him to be available. Said is doing well (too),” Moyes explained.
“(Benrahma) needs to get up to speed. I am not in a great rush to put them into the team, I want to give them opportunities but at the right time.

“We are seeing good signs. We want him to get a bit quicker for the Premier League. I’ll take my time and bring him on when I am ready and get him in the right condition to start.”
It feels unlikely, however, that Moyes will change a winning formula when City come to town.
Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen ripped Wolves and Leicester to shreds and deserve to keep their places in the starting XI, while Pablo Fornals’ best performances in a West Ham shirt have come in the left-wing position that Benrahma will soon be hoping to make his own.
