Leeds United and Everton go head to head on Wednesday night.
The Whites dominated the meeting between the two sides in November and they were good value for their 1-0 win.
Nigel Martyn used to play for both clubs and was in attendance at Goodison Park that evening working for Everton club media.
In an exclusive interview, we asked him for his view on the forthcoming meeting between the two clubs.
“I see the two clubs in a different place to where they were when they played at Goodison,” said Martyn. “Leeds were on the up and Everton weren’t quite at their best at that time.
“It’s going to be tougher, I think it’s going to be a tough one for Leeds if I’m perfectly honest. It’s a stronger Everton side and a side in a better place generally.
“They are good and well set up away from home as well, difficult to break down. They have that set-piece threat and it’s not Leeds’ strongest area.
“Everton are quite a big side. It’s going to be a tough fixture for Leeds. I don’t like ‘revenge’ in football because it never seems to go well.

“It’s just about being professional but I can see Everton returning the favour from earlier in the season.”
Everton have shown themselves to be resolute and patient at times this season.
They’ll likely been quite content to soak up pressure from Leeds before trying to hit them on the break or from a set piece.
But it shouldn’t be forgotten that Leeds utterly dominated that November meeting and will hope for a repeat performance at Elland Road.
