Former England international star John Barnes has predicted Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
In an exclusive interview with HITC Sport, former Liverpool and Newcastle United star Barnes, speaking on behalf of Bonus Code Bets, said when asked for his top-four predictions: “I think the top four will be Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title last season, while Tottenham Hotspur finished second in the standings.
Manchester City ended up third in the table during the 2016-17 campaign, while Liverpool finished fourth ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United, who ended up fifth and sixth respectively.
United have started the 2017-18 Premier League strongly. Jose Mourinho’s side are currently at the top of the table with nine points from three matches.
Liverpool are second in the standings at the moment with seven points from three games, with Pep Guardiola’s City fourth.
Chelsea are sixth with six points, Tottenham are ninth on four points, and Arsenal are as low as 16th with just three points.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have the three best squads in the Premier League, and all of them should be able to finish in the top four.
