The agent of Belgian left-back Bryan Verboom is not happy with Leeds United.

A week ago it was reported that Belgian side Zulte Waregem were confused by the transfer situation involving Leeds United and their left-back Bryan Verboom.
Voetbal Nieuws reported that whilst Leeds, Verboom and the Belgian side had agreed terms on a transfer Leeds did not move to finalise the deal.
Now HITC Sport has spoken to his agent Ben Kouider Mustafa to shed some light on the situation.
The agent based in Marbella, Spain represents Verboom with his company Sports Beninvest.
He had this to say on the matter:
“Leeds no longer respond to the agent that mediated the transfer.
“Leeds said that they would first have to sell the left back to buy Verboom.
“He is ready to sign for Leeds! The ball is in their camp, we were all done, Leeds’ time to react.”

Kouider went on to make it clear he was not pleased with the way the transfer has seemingly fallen through. After all the hard work that went in to putting a deal together, he said Leeds ‘were not professional’ in the concluding of a deal, as he had interest from other clubs in his client, avenues which could have been pursued.
He does however remain confident that his client will end up playing in England, even if it is not with Leeds.
The agent stated:
“Verboom will make it to England in the transfer window in January. He has many interested clubs.
“He’s still under contract until 2019 (at Zulte) and the club are prepared to sell if the bid is on the table.”
Verboom was being linked with a move to Leeds with doubts surrounding the future of first-choice left-back Charlie Taylor.
The emergence of Tyler Denton has likely put an end to this transfer completely, but Verboom will hopefully grace English football in the not so distant future.
