A host of EFL clubs are chasing the signature of Arsenal talent Jack Henry-Francis during this month’s transfer window.

Arsenal starlet Jack Henry-Francis is being tracked by a host of clubs ahead of a likely loan move this month, HITC Football understands.

The 20-year-old is currently with the first-team squad for their warm weather training in Dubai. He was also involved with the squad ahead of their Champions League clash with Lens earlier this season but he is yet to make his debut.

We understand a host of clubs in League One and League Two are aware of his progress and are looking to land the Republic of Ireland youth international.

Lincoln City, Cheltenham Town, Colchester United, AFC Wimbledon, Crawley Town and MK Dons are understood to be amongst those showing an interest.

Who is Arsenal talent Jack Henry-Francis?

Henry-Francis actually started in the Fulham youth ranks before heading to Arsenal back in 2016, aged just 12.

The 20-year-old predominantly plays as a midfielder and is described as ‘energetic’ as well as ‘aggressive and tenacious in the tackle’ on Arsenal’s official website.

Henry-Francis has turned out five times in Premier League 2 this season, recording two goals and one assist.

Whilst Henry-Francis has been around the first team under Mikel Arteta, he has yet to make a first-team appearance.

A Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, Henry-Francis may now need senior action in order to continue his development.

A move to League One or League Two may now be ideal for Henry-Francis as he looks to prove that he can make the grade at Arsenal.

Arsenal have previously sent the likes of Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Tyreece John-Jules to Lincoln, so The Imps may be an appealing destination.

Cheltenham already have one Arsenal loanee in their ranks in Nathan Butler-Oyedeji and could pounce again for Henry-Francis.

Arsenal will now weigh up whether League One is right for Henry-Francis or whether he could be better off in League Two, with guaranteed playing time no doubt the focus.
