Tottenham youngster inspired under-23 win.

Tottenham Hotspur talent Jack Roles is enjoying a successful start to the season for the club’s academy.
Roles scored in Tottenham’s 4-0 Checkatrade Trophy win over Gillingham last night in a well rounded display.
This followed up a goal he netted last month in the UEFA Youth League against Inter Milan.
His recent efforts will help the young attacking midfielder to get noticed, but he might have to be even more proactive.
Roles turns 20 in February, and he is yet to make his first team debut.

Young talent Oliver Skipp, 17, was named on the bench for Tottenham against Barcelona last week.
This is show of faith in Skipp’s ability, but it must make Roles a little nervous as to whether his chance will come, or if he has been skipped past.
His recent goals will help, but Roles needs to do what is best for his development in January, and seek a loan move if no first team opportunities appear to be forthcoming.
