Could Everton and West Ham engage in exciting swap deal involving Tom Davies and Aaron Cresswell?

The exciting young midfielder is one of the brightest talents coming through at Goodison Park, and he became a prominent member of the Everton squad while Ronald Koeman was in charge.
However, he has started just 11 times this season, and has not been starting regularly following Sam Allardyce’s appointment as manager.

Allardyce is ready to sanction the departures of a number of players in January, but Everton reportedly have no intention of selling him this month.
The Toffees, on the other hand, are looking to bolster the left-back option, with the Daily Mail reporting that Everton are interested in signing Aaron Cresswell from West Ham.
Cresswell is one of the key members of the Hammers squad, but it could be argued that they can afford to sell the left-back, with the emergence of Arthur Masuaku this season.

On that note, a potential swap deal involving these two players would have been perfect for both Everton and West Ham.
Davies would have added depth in the West Ham midfield, while Cresswell would have solved Everton’s left-back problems.
However, both these players are precious to their clubs, and it is highly unlikely they would be willing to part ways with them this month.
