Tottenham Hotspur’s first team are in action at midday, as they take on Southampton in the Premier League.
Jose Mourinho needs a big result in that game, but he will have been pleased with the performance of Tottenham’s youngsters on Saturday.
Spurs’ Under-18’s were in action against rivals Arsenal on Saturday, and claimed an impressive 2-0 victory at Hotspur Way.
Dane Scarlett’s penalty put Arsenal in front, before Yago Santiago wrapped up the win to make it 2-0 late in the day.
Santiago’s contribution will be exciting to Spurs fans who will be hoping to see the Spaniard step into the first team in the near future.
The 17-year-old joined Spurs from Celta Vigo in the summer of 2019, and was included in first-team training by Mauricio Pochettino in November last year.

Fans have been excited about footage of the Spaniard in training, showing off his outstanding technical ability, and scoring against Arsenal certainly won’t harm his reputation.
If he can continue to thrive in the Under-18’s, Santiago will put himself on Mourinho’s radar – and provide playmaking option in midfield for years to come.
