Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Diego Llorente posted a video of himself curling a brilliant strike beyond David De Gea in training for Spain.
The centre-back, who recently joined Marcelo Bielsa’s side for £22 million from Real Sociedad, bent a fine right-footed effort beyond Manchester United’s No.1.
As well as the video, the 27-year-old wrote: ‘Working hard but also enjoying the most with the @SeFutbol‘
This prompted jovial doubts from some Leeds supporters over whether or not he is actually a defender – one fan even said ‘he’s no defender’ as seen below.
Llorente is yet to make his debut for the Yorkshire-based side following his arrival from La Liga.
He was named on the bench in the recent 1-1 draw against Manchester City, but didn’t manage to get involved in the action.

It could potentially be a fight for Llorente to get into Bielsa’s team.
The ex-Marseille boss also signed Germany international Robin Koch earlier in the window, who started alongside club captain Liam Cooper against Pep Guardiola’s men.

Having said that, it feels unlikely that Bielsa would’ve spent £22 million on a bench-warmer, so he must have a plan for the Spaniard.
Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about Llorente’s goal while on international duty…
