Arsenal talent Ovie Ejeheri has been spotted in first-team training today as the March international break begins.
Arsenal were able to have a quiet weekend with Mikel Arteta’s men having the weekend off.
The Gunners were already out of the FA Cup and with no Premier League fixture to fulfil, Arsenal could relax.
That was probably welcomed by Arteta and co after a physically and emotionally draining night against Porto.
The international break is now upon us, so Arsenal fans will have to wait a couple of weeks to see their side in action again.
London Colney is probably pretty quiet right now as most of Arsenal’s star players are away with their countries.
That means a chance for Arsenal’s young players – and goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri is one of them.
Ovie Ejeheri in Arsenal training
David Raya is away with Spain whilst Aaron Ramsdale is part of the England squad despite his lack of first-team action.
Even third-choice goalkeeper Karl Hein is away as he prepares to feature for Estonia.
Add in that Arthur Okonkwo is on loan at Wrexham and Arsenal’s goalkeeping ranks are pretty thin right now.
Youngster Ovie Ejeheri has been moved into first-team action as a result and was spotted in training earlier on Monday.
Ejeheri has been on the Arsenal books since the age of just eight and has been coming up through the ranks.

A first professional contract arrived in 2021 and a year later, Ejeheri headed on loan to non-league side Chelmsford City.
In January of last year, Ejeheri made a surprise loan move to Finland with SJK, continuing his development away from Arsenal.
The 20-year-old has been a regular in Premier League 2 this season and will be looking to seize any chance he can get in training.
Eligible to play for England, Nigeria or Uganda at international level, Ejeheri may well be on international duty himself one day soon.
For now, it’s all about Arsenal for Ejeheri and he will be looking to show his quality during training this week with so many senior players away.
