Rangers have quite the selection of wingers to pick from next season.
Ryan Kent, Ianis Hagi, Kemar Roofe, Scott Wright and even new signing Fashion Sakala can all operate out wide.
That means it’s pretty hard for any young wide man to get into Steven Gerrard’ side, but there are still high hopes for Josh McPake.
McPake, 19, has been coming up through the Rangers ranks in recent times, and they have high hopes for him.
The Daily Record claim that Bristol City and Queens Park Rangers want to sign McPake, but Rangers want him as a first-team player moving forward.
Rangers loaned McPake out to English League Two side Harrogate Town in January, after previous spells at Dundee and Greenock Morton.
McPake has notched four goals in 23 outings for Harrogate, and excitement is now building over the teenager ahead of his Ibrox return this summer.

Harrogate boss Simon Weaver has now told The Scottish Sun that he thinks McPake is ‘a bit like Jack Grealish’ in how strong he is on the ball and how can glide past defenders.
Weaver joked that McPake is trying to copy Grealish by wearing his socks down, but Rangers fans have to be pretty excited by this rave review.
“He’s strong on the ball, a bit like Grealish is. I think he’s trying to look like him with his socks down,” said Weaver. “We joke about that — if you’re going to wear your socks like that, then you’ve got to play like him.”
“I have to say he’s got similar leg strength, the power and the way he likes to cut in. He commits a lot of people to fouls. So Josh has to find the work ethic the top talents implement to achieve the most successful forms of themselves. Saying ‘pull your socks up’, is part tongue-in-cheek,” he added.
