Some Crystal Palace fans on social media have been reacting after their club announced the signing of Joachim Andersen.
The Danish centre-back had been linked with Palace for quite some time, and now he’s officially a part of Patrick Vieira’s squad.
Andersen is no stranger to the Premier League, nor is he a stranger to London, spending last season on loan with Fulham.
While the Whites were unable to retain their place in the Premier League, the centre-back was a shining beacon of hope throughout the season, earning all sorts of plaudits for his defensive showings.
In fact, Andersen was even the captain for the majority of the season at Fulham as Tom Cairney struggled with injury and Aleksandar Mitrovic was largely frozen out.
Andersen is back in the Premier League, and alongside Marc Guehi, it looks as though the Eagles will have a formidable defence next season.
