John Carver says Kieran Tierney has trained ‘exceptionally’ well since the Arsenal defender joined the Scotland squad for their November internationals, via the Glasgow Times.
The Tartan Army round off their World Cup qualifying campaign against Moldova on Friday then host Denmark on Monday.
Steve Clarke’s side need one win from their games to finish as runners-up in Group F and claim a play-off spot. And will be expected to start Tierney at Moldova’s Stadionul Zimbru.

Tierney has not featured for Arsenal since they drew with Crystal Palace on October 18 after sustaining an ankle injury.
He returned to Mikel Arteta’s plans for Sunday’s win over Watford, but only took a seat on the bench. With Nuno Tavares starting after he missed three games in all competitions.
Clarke included Tierney in his Scotland squad, despite the Arsenal defender’s injury, as he was hopeful the full-back would recover. And assistant coach Carver is pleased with what he saw from the 24-year-old as the Tartan Army trained for the first time on Tuesday.
“He looked great this morning, full of running,” Carver said. “He has been out some time now, but he was on the bench at the weekend and he has come into the camp and trained exceptionally well.”

Arsenal to closely watch Tierney for Scotland after injury
Arsenal will pay close attention to Scotland’s World Cup qualifiers to see if and how Tierney performs after his injury.
Arteta will not want the £110k-a-week ace to play all minutes available after sitting out the Gunners’ last four games. But Tierney will want to play his part in Scotland potentially qualifying for the next World Cup in Qatar.
Tierney has played every minute of the Tartan Army’s qualifiers so far and has helped to four-straight wins. Scotland also kept three clean sheets over their four most recent ties, to put themselves in a strong position to claim the runners-up spot and a play-off place.
