Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Naby Keita on Amazon Prime Video (7:45pm, December 26, 2022) for his performance against Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
Klopp has said that Keita did exceptionally well after coming on as a substitute for Liverpool against Villa on Monday.
Liverpool got the better of the Villans 3-1 away from home.
Keita did not start the match, but the Guinea international midfielder came on as a substitute for Spanish star Thiago midway through the second half.
And Klopp was impressed.

Klopp said: “I thought Naby did exceptional when he came on.”
Encouraging performance
We do not think that Naby Keita was ‘exceptional’ for Liverpool after coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa, but the midfielder’s performance was encouraging.
The 27-year-old central midfielder had an effort go over the bar, and he did make his presence felt in the middle of the park to help Liverpool to a win.
Keita is clearly not a regular in the Liverpool first team, but he is a very good player who can play his role for the Reds in the coming weeks and months.
