Paulo Dybala is continually stressing to his close friends and associates that he only wants to stay at Juventus amid reported transfer interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who report Dybala is ardent that signing a new contract is his priority. The Argentine is currently a free agent from June after the Bianconeri pulled their previous offer of a new deal. He last penned an extension in the summer of 2017.
Juventus had reached a total agreement with Dybala over new terms back in October. But the Serie A side could not finalise the contract amid their ongoing financial difficulties. They now intend to revisit the situation in February, as both sides remain keen to stay together.

Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on Dybala’s situation at rivals Juventus in view of a free transfer this summer. But the Nerazzurri will likely fall short in any pursuit, as the 28-year-old feels he can never wear the blue-and-black jersey after seven-years with the Old Lady.
Yet Inter Chairman Giuseppe Marotta refuses to back down, and would look to seize on a divorce. The San Siro chief knows which buttons to press on an economical and personal level to try and tempt a change of heart if the Bianconeri do not finalise his new contract.
Liverpool and Tottenham eying Dybala transfers in event of Juventus split
Inter Milan could also face competition from Liverpool and Tottenham for a free transfer if Dybala leaves Juventus. Corriere della Sera report Antonio Conte is ready to raid his former club, while also rivalling Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
The Milan-based newspaper also note the Bianconeri and Argentina international agreed a contract worth €8m-a-year (£128k-a/w). The deal, which would have run to 2026, included €1.5m (£1m) in bonuses, as well. But Marotta and Conte are ready to battle the Old Lady.

Reports by Calciomercato also tout Liverpool as a potential transfer destination for Dybala if he leaves Juventus this summer. Any exit will deprive the Bianconeri of their vice-captain, who has 10 goals and four assists so far this season and cost €32m (£27m) to sign in 2015.
Liverpool or Tottenham could also sign a player long considered among the best with a free transfer for Juventus’ Dybala. His ex-teammate Pol Lirola once claimed, via quotes by Goal:
“Dybala is an absolute phenomenon. [Gianluigi] Buffon is absolutely right: Dybala is among the top-five players in the world. Technically, he’s exceptional.”
