Marcus Edwards is dazzling away from Tottenham Hotspur at the moment.

It certainly looks as if Tottenham Hotspur gem Marcus Edwards is enjoying his football again.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino loaned him to Excelsior last summer but only in recent weeks has the 20-year-old midfielder come out of his shell.
Edwards, once compared to Lionel Messi by Pochettino [The Independent], scored one and set up the other in a 2-1 win over Emmen last weekend, having also dazzled against Robin van Persie and Feyenoord earlier this month.
The Lilywhites product only managed six minutes of first-team action on loan at Norwich City last season, with The Telegraph claiming that attitude and time-keeping issues led to a termination of his agreement at Carrow Road.
But there can be no doubting his ability and Excelsior team-mate Jeffry Fortes is frankly stunned that the Eredivisie club have been able to sign him in the first place.
He told Voetbal International: “He is of a bizarre level, what he can do is really not normal, I have not experienced a better player in my career, and Mauricio Pochettino did not make that comparison with Messi for nothing.
“He is for many the hired player of Tottenham Hotspur, not Marcus Edwards, and of course it is also incredible that he is walking around here, let’s face it.”
It remains to be seen whether he has a future at Tottenham under Pochettino, but if he maintains this form until the end of the season then maybe the Argentine manager will give him another shot at redemption during the summer.
Whether he takes it is up to him.
