Some Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jordan Jones against Motherwell this afternoon.
Jones was in action for Rangers in their Scottish Premiership game against Motherwell away from home this afternoon.
The 25-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Steven Gerrard’s side won 5-1.
The Northern Ireland international has not had the best of times during his time at Rangers, but he was superb for the Gers today.
The former Middlesbrough prospect scored in the 28th minute and looked very lively throughout.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old winger took two shots of which one ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 76%, took 39 touches, made one tackle, and put in two tackles.
Some Rangers fans were impressed with the display produced by Jones and have praised him on Twitter, as shown below.
The result means that Rangers are now at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 23 points from nine matches, four points clear of second-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played seven times.
Former Heart of Midlothian manager Craig Levein was also impressed with Jones.
Levein told BBC Sport: “What a fantastic day for Steven Gerrard. He put Jones in from the start and he’s been excellent.”
