Arsenal fans have been very impressed by Dani Ceballos, who played in a more advanced role for Spain last night.

The Arsenal midfielder started for his country in their 0-0 draw with Portugal.

But, rather than being stationed in a deep-lying midfield role, he was given more creative licence to go forward.

Ceballos seemed to thrive under more attacking instruction.

And Arsenal fans were impressed with the 24-year-old’s display for his country.

Ceballos may actually have given Arsenal fans a glimpse of what they can now expect from him at the Emirates Stadium.

With Thomas Partey’s signing secured, Ceballos should be given more creative licence in Arsenal’s midfield now.

Arsenal are next in action against Manchester City, when they return to football in two weeks’ time.
