Speaking on The Stand with Eamon Dunphy, Liam Brady has been discussing Arsenal’s win over Aston Villa, and he reserved special praise for Bukayo Saka.
The winger was unbelievable against Aston Villa. Not only did he score the only goal of the game, but he was incredibly progressive every time he got on the ball.
The only way Villa could stop him was by kicking lumps out of him, and while Steven Gerrard may believe Saka needs to toughen up, Brady was amazed by his showing.
Brady was full of praise for the young man, labelling him as ‘outstanding’.
What’s been said?
The Arsenal legend praised Saka.
“It was important to bounce back at Villa at the weekend. They did very well, that first half they were excellent, they tired in the second half, probably because they had played in midweek, but they got over the line. Saka again, the young player, he was outstanding,” Brady said.

Incredible
When a man like Liam Brady is purring over you, you know you are a special player.
It’s impossible to not be in awe of Saka at the moment. At the age of 20, he’s running almost every game he plays in the Premier League, and he’s arguably the best footballer in this Arsenal squad.
We’re beyond the point of saying Saka will be an incredible player one day, he’s already a superstar and if he gets any better, we will truly be talking about one of the best players in the world.
