Former Wolves stalwart Karl Henry has taken to Twitter to reveal that he’ll never tire of watching his last-gasp winner against Charlton in March 2008.
The now-retired Englishman was sent a clip of his goal at The Valley by a Wolves fan-page, to commemorate his birthday.
In response to the fan-page, Henry tweeted the following.
The Wolverhampton-born 37-year-old racked up an amazing 271 appearances for the Midlands-based outfit following a move from Stoke City in 2006.
It speaks volumes that supporters still think about his goal against the Addicks when his name crops up, even 12 years after he scored it.

As the BBC recount, Henry’s goal helped move Wolves into a play-off position in the final stages of the 2007/08 Championship campaign, as it earned Mick McCarthy’s side a 3-2 win over Alan Pardew’s men.
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake also happened to net a double in that win in south London.

Sadly, Wolves failed to stay in the play-off positions that term, although they did earn promotion under McCarthy the following season.
In his whopping 271 appearances for Wolves, Henry scored seven goals and recorded eight assists. He also amassed 56 yellow cards and four straight reds, as Transfermarkt show.
He is, without doubt, a cult hero at Molineux.
