West Ham United currently sit in 16th position in the Premier League table.
Speaking in BBC’s Match of the Day 2 programme at 23:04 on 27th November, former Hammers star Trevor Sinclair explained how West Ham fans will be pleased with a point against Manchester United at Old Trafford, and highlighted the Red Devils as one of the two clubs who the Hammers faithful want to beat more than any other team in the league.
Slaven Bilic’s men deserve a lot of credit for the way in which they went about their business yesterday, and taking a point away from the Theatre of Dreams, whilst being under so much pressure, has to be applauded.

The East Londoners actually moved up a place in the Premier League table, above Crystal Palace, but still sit in a precarious position, just one point clear of the drop zone.
But Sinclair explained how it was a positive day for West Ham, when speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day 2:
“Good point, good performance. It was a great reaction from the players after getting beaten by Tottenham last week. And if there are two teams who West Ham fans want to do well against it’s Tottenham and Manchester United, and they’ve managed to get something at Old Trafford so they will be pleased about that.”

Next up for West Ham is a home game against Arsenal on Saturday, who are unbeaten in 19 games, followed by a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool who have strung together 14 games without defeat, so it doesn’t get any easier for Bilic’s men.
Their point at Old Trafford could eventually prove to be a very significant one come the end of the season.
