Jamie Redknapp offered huge praise for Harry Kane, when writing his regular column for the Daily Mail, suggesting that he can emulate some of the Premier League’s best strikers by firing his Spurs side to title glory.
Tottenham closed the gap on league leaders Chelsea to just four points at the weekend, after their impressive 4-0 win over Bournemouth and the Blues’ 2-0 defeat against Manchester United.
With just six games remaining in the title race, the momentum is firmly with Mauricio Pochettino’s men, and with the return of Harry Kane coming at just the right time, it would be no shock to see the Lilywhites usurp Antonio Conte’s side at the top.
The 23-year-old England international has been a major driving force behind Spurs’ superb campaign thus far, scoring 20 goals in 24 Premier League outings, and he has proven once again that he is one of the world’s best strikers.
And Redknapp explained how he can go on to achieve great things in North London, when writing his regular column for the Daily Mail:

“Harry is the man who has the best chance of beating Shearer’s all-time record of 260 goals. It will be tough but he is young enough and at the right club to succeed — and if he breaks his August hoodoo then he will score even more! Tottenham have already surpassed the 70 points they won last season. They are getting better every year and there is no reason why Kane cannot become a Premier League title winner like Shearer, Van Nistelrooy and Henry.”
Next up on the agenda for Kane and co is their FA Cup semi final clash with Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday, and a win for Pochettino’s men could give them the impetus they need to go on and win their first league title in 56 years.
