Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes will play in the Premier League with Watford next season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has taken to Instagram to give his reaction after signing a new contract with Watford.

The 34-year-old put pen to paper on a new three-year deal with the Premier League-bound club, as reported by Football365.com.

The former Brazil international was on the books of Spurs from 2008 to 2014, making 97 appearances in the Premier League in the process.

In the final years of his tenure at the North London outfit, Gomes was used largely as a back-up goalkeeper and also made a number of high-profile errors.

Following his exit from Tottenham in the summer of 2014, Gomes signed a contract with Watford.

The former PSV star was an important player for Watford in their promotion-winning 2014-15 campaign, keeping 15 clean sheets in 44 Championship appearances.

Gomes made 2.95 saves per game and 2.95 saver per goal, as the Hornets finished second in the league table and gained automatic promotion.
