Gage was a member of the Sheffield United side which lost 2-1 to Sheffield Wednesday in the semi-final of the FA Cup 25 years ago.

Ex-Sheffield United midfielder Kevin Gage has poked fun at Sheffield Wednesday on Twitter.
United beat Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday to move to within a point of the play-off places, while Wednesday were beaten 2-1 at Millwall to leave them only eight points above the bottom three.
The Owls finished fourth last season, but have endured a difficult campaign this time out – one which has seen them lose to the Blades at Hillsborough, part company with their most successful manager of recent times (Carlos Carvalhal) and suffer an unprecedented injury crisis.

Gage, though, has no sympathy for Wednesday, whose new manager Jos Luhukay started without a recognised striker against Millwall.
He wrote:
