Hill was released by Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha after one season at Ibrox.
Former Rangers defender Clint Hill
Former Glasgow Rangers defender Clint Hill is back at the Gers’ English namesakes, Queens Park Rangers, on trial.
The 38-year-old was released by Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha in May and had been training with League Two sides Chesterfield and Carlisle United.
But QPR – the club he left for Ibrox 15 months ago – could offer Hill a return to the Championship if he impresses back in West London.

And things appear to be going well so far, with the Liverpudlian helping QPR’s Under-23s to a 5-0 win against a Bolton Wanderers side containing 47-cap former Brazil international Julio Baptista.
Hill played 60 minutes at Harlington, as goals from Aramide Oteh (2), Danny Rowe and Chay Tilt (2) sealed an emphatic fourth-straight league victory for Paul Hall’s team.

Some Glasgow Rangers fans were disappointed to lose Hill after a season in which he finished the club’s fourth top scorer with six goals from 30 appearances.
Nevertheless, the subsequent signings of Fabio Cardoso and Bruno Alves are likely to have restricted his chances at Ibrox.
