Pedro Caixinha didn’t last long at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Manager of Rangers Pedro Caixinha walks out to inspect the pitch before the Betfred Cup Semi Final at Hampden Park on October 22, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Pedro Caixinha’s man-management skills were questionable during his time at Rangers.

Josh Windass exploded into life after the Portuguese left Rangers last season, while the same could be said for Alfredo Morelos.

Caixinha also exiled Kenny Miller at one point during a disappointing 2017-18 campaign, and sent Andy Halliday – a big player under current Gers boss Steven Gerrard now – to Azerbaijan on loan.

He either didn’t get on with a number of players in Glasgow, or he didn’t get the best out of them.

And it seems like the current Cruz Azul boss might still be making enemies, this time in Mexico.

Argentine midfielder Walter Montoya has slammed the 48-year-old coach and accused him of treating him ‘like trash’ during his stint with the Liga MX side.

The 25-year-old, who hadn’t played under the former Rangers man since September [Soccerway], told The Record in Portugal: “I felt the coach treated me like trash. In training, I felt at my best, but when the games came I was not picked to play.”

Montoya, who only played nine times under him last term, has joined Gremio in Brazil.

Caixinha won only 14 of his 26 games since replacing Mark Warburton in Glasgow nearly two years ago.
