The former Norwich City and Ipswich Town pair were guests on Talksport earlier.

Dean Ashton has insisted, perhaps unsurprisingly, that Norwich City and not Ipswich Town are East Anglia’s biggest club.
Ashton moved to Norwich from Crewe Alexandra in January 2005, and spent a year at Carrow Road before West Ham United came calling.
The striker, who was forced into retirement before the decade end, appeared on Jim White’s Talksport show this morning, alongside Darren Bent, his former England Under-21 teammate and the ex-Ipswich player.
When asked which of the two rivals – often dubbed the ‘Old Farm’ – is the biggest, Ashton replied: “Of course it’s Norwich, isn’t it?
“They (Ipswich) want to be Norwich.
“The hatred is more from Ipswich than it is Norwich. Definitely.”

But Bent said: “Nah, I don’t particularly hate Norwich, but if I’m going to pick a team from East Anglia it is obviously going to be blue.”
Norwich have not lost to Ipswich since April 2009, and continue to hold the region’s bragging rights, sitting 18 positions and 15 points above their bottom-placed rivals – who sacked manager Paul Hurst this afternoon after less than five months in charge.
